What God has determined shall be done

Women of Favour joyfully dedicate their new born babies at one of the Lord’s Chosen services held recently at the church’s headquarters in Ijesha, Lagos.

Text: Luke 1:37: “For with God nothing shall be impossible.”
The power of God is able to do all things under heaven. The entire heaven and earth and everything therein are under His control. Power belongs to Him; fortunately, the application of this power is to the benefits of all. At the same time, whatever, He plans, He executes with ease. There is no force, no matter how strong that can constitute a hindrance to His divine plan. Such force will definitely be crushed. It is always said that if a man falls on God such a person will be broken to pieces, but if God falls on a man such man will be grounded to powder. Nothing, therefore, hinders God from executing His plan. It is in the expression of God’s ability to do all things that Isaiah 46:9-11 says: “Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me. 10: Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure.11: Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.”

The word of God stands from generation to generation; whatever He proposes, He executes to the last letter. God determined the creation of the earth; through spoken words, He called everything into existence. According to the Bible, the whole earth was covered by darkness and God said in Genesis 1:3: “Let there be light: and there was light.” As the light came into existence darkness was separated from the light and it was called night, while the light becomes the day. The water that filled the whole earth was separated from the land and the land produced trees, herbs and both wild and domestic animals. In that manner every other thing was created. At last, God moulded man from the sand of the earth, breathed into the nostrils and he became a living soul. All these happened according to Divine Plan and determination. They stand the test of time even to the present day.

It was solely God’s decision that Abraham should leave his people and his country to a place God would show him. In accordance with the God’s instruction Abraham left his home country of Ur of Chaldeans with his wife Sarah and eventually landed in Canaan, The Promised Land.

Abraham’s descendants have already settled on this territory when God again decided that they should move down to Egypt to avoid the ravaging famine then, to a place where there was enough food to sustain them. The Jacob’s family, Abraham’s second grandson under God’s watchful eyes went down to Egypt where they resided for 430 years. In the course of that, a Pharaoh who did not know Joseph arose and began to enslave them — forced them to unpaid labour, killed their newborn sons and took their daughters into forced marriage. God then decided that they should leave Egypt to the Promised Land.

Pharaoh was unwilling to release them because that means losing his cheap workforce, but with eagle wings God delivered them from that land of bondage. Several landmines were laid on their way, but God surmounted all and brought them to the Promised Land. God will always give His people an expected end as the Bible says in Jer. 29:11: “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

God will never disappoint His people. He will always give them a soft landing. The situation may be very bad, but at the intervention of God, the beneficiaries will smile at last. He holds the key to the solution of every human problem on earth.

Again, God determined that a saviour of the world would come through a virgin birth. The Bible presents it thus in Isaiah 7:10-14: “Moreover the Lord spake again unto Ahaz, saying. 11: Ask thee a sign of the Lord thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above. 12: But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the Lord. 13: And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also? 14: Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.” To prove that the sign is purely of the Lord, the finger of God confirmed it and it came to pass.

Another confirmation of this divine decision and its fulfillment came in Matthew 1:20-23: “But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. 21: And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins. 22: Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying. 23: Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.” In line with the divine determination, the pregnant Virgin Mary eventually gave birth to our Lord Jesus Christ, the Saviour of mankind.

Historically, whatever God determines always take place hence in your own situation, whatever He has determined shall come to pass in your life. There is nothing too hard for God, according Jeremiah 32:27: “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?”

Your problem may be the fruit of the womb, poverty, sickness of any kind, including madness, failure at the edge of breakthrough, among others, the power of God has the ability to crush them all and give you the necessary freedom. In this ongoing programme (Mgbidi 2024 Lagos Experience), which started four days ago, and today, being the grand finale, participants have been witnessing and experiencing mighty move of God’s power and no attendee will leave the venue the same way he or she had come. As you are in the presence of God, hold unto God with the determination of Jacob at Bethel, Keep on saying: ‘I will never leave unless you bless me,’ by His grace and your faith, you will be glad at the end of this crusade.

God has determined a lot of good things for His people who are willing to obey His words. Blessings of God come through obedience to His words, hence, for anyone to enjoy the touch of God’s power, such a person must be born-again. He/she has to repent from his/her sins and give his/her life to Jesus Christ. There is nothing too hard for God to do in your life; and whatever He decides to do in your life must come to pass. You only need to make yourself available, obey His words, and you will witness mighty blessings in your life in Jesus’ name.

Testimony Of The Lord’s Doing
God Helped Me Overcame Surgical Complications

My name is Brother Henry Kalu. I live at Oduselu Street, Itire, Lagos. I glorify the name of the Lord for what He has done for me. I did not know that God of Chosen is so good until l came here and now I am a witness of the goodness of the Lord. Praise the Lord!

My testimony is that, three years ago, l went to Isukwuato Crusade because I was not feeling fine. Returning from the crusade, I began to face some challenges. Eventually, l went to the hospital where tests were conducted and it was discovered l had prostate cancer. I was booked for operation, which l rejected initially because l saw my G.O. in my dream and he told me not to go for the operation, but the pains l was passing through was so terrible that l had to under the operation. In the process of the operation, l died at the other side. Then, I saw three MOPOL who accosted me and asked me where l was going and commanded that I should go back, l protested and asked why they would ask me to go back?

It was at that point, that l saw our G.O. and complained to him. G.O. said they should block the road against me that l should go back, that it was not yet time. Then I did not know what happened and I opened my eyes. Praise the Lord!

Nevertheless, two weeks after the first operation, l began to feel pains again and they booked me for another operation, which after they had conducted, they forgot wool in my body that made me to go for the third operation. After the third and last operation, my body began to swell and they said it was diabetes. Brethren, l passed through hell, but God saw me through. That l can stand today to testify is a great miracle of God. Now, I am healed and my body has come back to normal. Praise the Lord!

Moreover, my friend in Germany sent some money to me to take care of myself. Praise the Lord! May his name be glorified in Jesus’ name.

I pray for our G.O. and all the Chosen members worldwide, heaven at last in Jesus’ name.
