School tasks graduating students on morals, hardwork

Razeva School, Ejigbo, Lagos State, has urged its recently graduated 100 students to always remember the watchword of the school, which is hard work and excellence wherever they go.

Speaking at its 2020/2021 Graduation/Valedictory service, the Principal, Mrs. Godwin Ngozi commended the students for their excellent performance, which positioned the school as one of the best in Oshodi /Isolo education district, advising them to sustain the feat in their further educational pursuit.

Head Teacher of the primary section, Mr. Segun Alake, said during the last placement examination for basic six, the school performed excellently well, and urged the pupils to always distinguish themselves with good behaviour and remain excellent in academic performance.


The proprietress, Mrs. Eva Afolabi expressed gratitude to God for his faithfulness amid COVID-19 pandemic.

While commending the students for putting up exemplary conduct during their academic pursuit, Afolabi appealed to them not to rest on their oars.

Outgoing head girl of the school, Ezeigwe Chiamaka, said she has been groomed to explore opportunities around the world, and can compete favourably with any of her contemporaries across the globe.

She said: “All our dreams can come through if we have the courage to pursue them.”

For Lyan Otakpor, the outgoing head boy, Razeva School represents the world on a smaller scale. “I experienced it all here. I’m ready for the world, because our stay in this great citadel of learning has been tasking but God saw us through.”

Highlight of the event was presentation of awards and certificates to best graduating students.
