Mbah moves to boost revenue through gaming industry

Stakeholders in the nation’s gaming industry are set to converge on Enugu capital city for the Enugu State Gaming Conference, as the Governor Peter Mbah Administration is set to boost the state’s revenue by tapping into opportunities in the gaming industry.

This was made known in Enugu, yesterday, by the Executive Secretary of the Enugu State Gaming and Lotto Commission, Prince Arinze Arum, who described the state as a land of opportunities, noting that the administration is determined to expand the opportunities by positioning the state as a hub for gaming tourism.

Arum, who noted that the administration’s $30 billion Gross Domestic Product (GDP) target would not come from a single sector, but from exploring all economic opportunities available to the state, said that the gaming conference, which will be declared open by the governor on June 27, reflects the state government’s commitment to fostering growth and development within the gaming industry in the country.

“Enugu State is a land of opportunities, and the Mbah administration is committed to growing the state’s economy exponentially from $4.4 billion to $30 billion.”

This growth will not come from one sector. Therefore, we are committed to expanding these opportunities to make the state the premier destination for investment, business, tourism, and living.
