Ace photographer, the phenomenal Kelechi Amadi-Obi and Kannywood star, Ali Nuhu are the latest celebrities to be signed on as brand ambassadors to furniture brand, Vento Furniture. They will be joining actors Bolanle Ninalowo and Mary Lazarus who were signed last year at an elaborate ceremony in Lagos.

The signing, which took place at the main showroom in Lagos recently, saw the Vento brand welcome Amadi-Obi and Nuhu into the family to be the faces of the brand across the country. After the signing which the duo said would run for a year, an elated Amadi-Obi said anyone would want to associate with products that align with one’s personal mantra. “It is about paying attention to details and distinguishing yourself in excellence and service offering and those are some of the things I observed about this brand. The first time I entered their showroom, everything stood out perfectly for me. Every piece screams luxury yet is very affordable. That day, I ended up buying furniture from them and I never knew I was going to be their ambassador much later. Each time I come here, I always see something new.

“When I was approached to represent the brand, they didn’t even need to talk too much because I has already experienced the brand first hand. The coffee table I bought two years ago still serves me both as a prop for photoshoot and what it was originally intended for. Furniture is an excellent way to show your personality to the world; it helps define you and tells people whom you are. The kind of couch you have in your living room tells people your style and preference. I am happy they decided to key into my network and whenever I’m called upon to endorse a product, I feel gratitude because they are indirectly endorsing my own brand. Right now, we’re doing this for a year but I believe it’s going to be a long and beautiful relationship.”

Nuhu said he first came across the brand at the airport when he was traveling to Abuja. “I was fascinated by what I saw and it wasn’t long after this I got a call that they wanted me to join their team as brand ambassador which I appreciate and am thankful for. For the core North, I don’t think they have a presence there and it is badly needed. There are people over there looking for quality and we need to reach these people and communicate it to them in a language they understand. As ambassador, I would use my social media presence to push Vento in the North and into everyone’s consciousness.’’

Returning ambassadors, Mary Lazarus and Bolanle Ninalowo said the journey with the brand has been a beautiful and fulfilling one in the past year. ‘’I think they’re one of the best brands in the world and pushing the brand is not difficult because quality speaks for itself. I took my friend, Mary Njoku to get something from them two months ago and she testified to its quality well. I am always known for quality so when people see me behind this brand, they can be rest assured of the best. Skincare products owners approach me to influence for them but I don’t do that because what works for me might not work for you and I don’t want anyone to meet me on the road and cut my neck in anger,” Lazarus said.

Ninalowo said their progress since inception has been nothing short of amazing and the standard is something he is proud to be associated with. “I always take every opportunity I can to sell this product and identify with them wherever I find myself. I have been with them for a year and I would recommend it to everyone that loves quality, he said.

Speaking on behalf of the brand, MD, MBR Signature, Stanley Ezeani restated that the additional brand ambassadors is strategically geared towards reinforcing the brand’s core message to the market, that the brand is here to redefine and provide affordable luxury for all. “These new ambassadors are able to resonate well with everyone. They embody affordable luxury and class which we are bringing to the market. Amadi-Obi and Nuhu are masters in their respective fields and tell compelling stories in their own rights through their crafts. We want to give everyone the best possible quality at the most affordable cost ever. We want everyone to “think home, think Vento” because we know home is always where our minds are, either our workspaces or where we live. We want to redefine where we all call home, this is our drive and core promise to the Nigerian market.”
