How To Make Turkey Bacon Recipe

Ingredients

  • 6 slices turkey bacon (cut into small pieces)
  • Butter-flavoured cooking spray
  • 2 (16 ounce) cans refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ cup skimmed milk
  • ½ tbsp salt
  • ½ tbsp ground black pepper
  • 2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

Method

  1. Place turkey bacon in a large frying pan and cook over medium-high heat, turning it occasionally, until evenly browned, about 5 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray with cooking spray, making sure to thoroughly coat the bottom and sides.
  3. Beat eggs, milk, salt, and pepper together in a bowl.
  4. Dip biscuit crumbles into the egg mixture and layer into the fluted tube pan.
  5. Top each layer with a sprinkle of turkey bacon and Cheddar cheese. Pour any remaining egg mixture over the dough. Spray the top generously with cooking spray.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven until the top is browned, about 40 minutes. Allow to cool until Cheddar cheese is set and the pan is easily handled, about 10 minutes. Invert onto a plate.
