GKS new president, other executive board members pledge to discharge duties creditably

The newly inducted President of God’s Kingdom Society (GKS) – The Church of The Living God, Brother Felix Ekundayo Adedokun has pledged on behalf of the executive board of the church to discharge their duties creditably. The president was inducted alongside other members of the Executive Board of the church and they have since assumed duties.

In his acceptance speech, Brother Adedokun commended members of the church for their show of love for God and His work.


Chairman of the Assembly of the Lord’s Ministry Elders (ALME), Brother (Pa) Joel Olusola Solupeju read the charge to the Executive Board members, as well as the benediction. While the sermon for the day, titled: ‘The Foundation of God Standeth Sure,’ was discoursed by the Acting Publicity Secretary of the church, Brother Emmanuel Oriaku. The church also received goodwill messages from the church branches abroad, among others.

The celebration, which took place two Saturdays ago at GKS’ Salem City, Delta State was graced by a number of dignitaries, including the Commissioner, Bureau of Special Duties, Mr. Johnbull Edema, who represented Delta State Governor, Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa; Executive Chairman of Warri South Local Council, Hon. (Dr.) Michael Tidi; Special Adviser to Delta State Governor on Rural and Community Development, Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Emmanuel O. Okoro; Special Adviser to Delta State Governor on Neighbourhood Watch and Chairman, Delta State Security Trust Fund, Brother Emmanuel Ogidi; and Commissioner of Police for Delta State, Ari Mohammed Ali represented by ASP Emmanuel Odemelin.
