Eid-el-fitri: Ajadi urges Muslims to promote peaceful coexistence after Ramadan fasting

The gubernatorial candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in Ogun state, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo has congratulated Muslims in Nigeria on the completion of 2023 Ramadan fasting and has urged them to remain committed to peaceful coexistence with people of other religious faiths in the country.


Ajadi, who thanked the Almighty Allah for keeping the Muslim faithful in health to complete the religious observance.
He described the Ramadan season as a rare opportunity to commune with God, adding that the Holy month signified a period of purification, sacrifice and act of sincere worship.

While urging the people of the state, his supporters and Nigerians as whole to be cautious in celebration, Ambassasor Ajadi urged Nigerian youths against being used as agents of destruction by desperate politicians.

Ambassador Ajadi, who is the Managing Director of Bullion Go-Neat Global Limited, the producer of Coco Samba gave these admonition in a statement he personally signed on Friday to felicitate with Muslims across the globe on the successful completion of fasting in the holy month of Ramadan.

According to him, “It is indeed a rare privilege for all of us to witness the beginning and the very end of the Holy Month of Ramadan. The Holy month signifies a period of purification, sacrifice and act of sincere worship to our Almighty creator.

“As true followers, we should be able to exhibit the piety of the Ramadan beyond the Holy month.
“Let the lessons show forth in our interactions with people even those from other faith”, he admonished.

“I equally want to use this opportunity to urge our people to be on the guard against acts capable of throwing our communities into turmoil.
“Let’s not lend ourselves as tools into the hands of mischievous elements seeking to serve selfish and parochial agendas against the general welfare and wellbeing of our people.

“As our party, the NNPP seeks legal redress over the omission of its name on the ballot of the just concluded 2023 general elections, we must continue to conduct ourselves as patriots and true believers in the rule of law.
We must not indulge in acts capable of destabilise our nascent democracy, nor scuttle our peaceful coexistence”, he advised.
Ambassador Ajadi also acknowledged Nigerian youths for their energy, reiterating his commitment to their best interests in whatever possible way it could be served.
