Akeredolu appoints journalist, Alabi, Chief of Protocol

A seasoned media practitioner and lawyer, Bola Alabi, has been appointed the Chief of Protocol to Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.
 
Until the new role, Alabi was Deputy Chief of Protocol.
  
Alabi started his journalism career with the defunct Daily Sketch in the early 90s and covered the activities of several military governors as a correspondent and rose to the position of a senior correspondent before returning to study law in his alma mater, Ogun State University (now, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye) where he had earlier bagged Bachelor of Arts.
   
On completion of his LL.B, he proceeded to Law school and was called to bar.
  
Alabi attended Ijebu Muslim College, Ijebu Ode, for his secondary education and later proceeded to Ogun State University for his degrees. He was also at the International Institute of Journalism, Abuja for a post-graduate diploma in journalism.
  
Alabi is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association; member, the Nigerian Institute of Management; associate of the Chartered Institute of Administration; member, the Commonwealth Lawyers Association and Publicity Secretary of the NBA Ibadan branch.
