“It was a great show. It was a complete entertainment mix of dance, music and comedy. The children and their parents really had fun,” the producer, Wale Adenuga said.

The highlight of the day was the honour bestowed on Lagos State commissioner for Women’s Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Mrs. Joke Orelope Adefulire during the event. Nnenna and friends bestowed on her Outstanding Merit Award “in recognition of her contributions to children’s development in Lagos State.”
Adefulire was recognised for sensitizing the public on the existence of a child’s rights law in the state. The law was also translated into other local languages so that the enlightenment on children’s rights could get to the people at the grassroots. Adefulire has also been instrumental in providing succour for and giving direction to women in the state.
